We live in challenging times today. Yet such situations are not new in history. Eventually, change does come and rights do get claimed in society by people. This occurs when the public acts to create a humane society that is caring of each other’s rights.

On March 8th, the world will celebrate more than 100 years anniversary of International Women’s Day.

Women’s rights exist in the home, in the workplace and in the community.

When she is denied her rights, then not only her life is harmed, but her children, her home, our society and the next generation are doomed.

Raising awareness of a woman’s rights and her role is important. It is through her creativity and ability that we lay the foundation of moral values in our society.

It is through her guidance that our children grow up to make a better tomorrow.

She is valuable and she must be cherished.

Her Rights include:

–  NO TORTURE,

–  EQUALITY WITH NO DISCRIMINATION,

–  RIGHT TO EDUCATION,

–  NO SLAVERY,

–  A RIGHT TO WORK and EARN MONEY,

–  A RIGHT TO MARRIAGE OF CHOICE and

–  A RIGHT TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT

Give women the Dignity they Deserve.

“Educate a man and you educate an individual. Educate a woman and you educate a family.” – A.Cripps

“We are victims of evil customs. It is a crime against humanity that our women are shut up within the four walls of the houses as prisoners. There is no sanction anywhere for the deplorable condition in which our women have to live. ” – Muhammad Ali Jinnah

“When women thrive, all of society benefits, and succeeding generations are given a better start in life.” – Kofi Annan

Do conduct events to raise awareness of Women’s rights and keep us informed.
