At the same time, we are in a transformational period where we have no idea what’s going to happen in the future.
Children starting school this year will be retiring in 2080. None of us has any idea what the world will look like in just five years’ time, yet we’re meant to be educating them for it.
Having completed one batch of student our Street-Kids Education Project, we are expanding. We have taken on 90 students from 3 different communities. Here is a success of one student Adeel, Age 15, from Korangi, who completed his study with us and is now part of mainstream education:
At Greenhouse Education Centre we have a holistic system of education. We focus on building the character of the student, making them more responsible for their actions and speech, and getting them to cover 3 years academic curriculum in one year. Here is Hafsa’s story she wants you to read:
This year, Dawn Newspaper reports that official statistics released present a bleak picture showing 22.84 million children are still out of school. A horrifying 52 percent of children in Sindh are outside the education system.
